My team and I sued this venue for a Friday night party event, and we could not be happier with our choice to use Whispering Pine.  The covered outdoor space included tables and chairs for our large group (80+ people) as well as a dance floor.  The grounds were amazingly beautiful for mid-May and added to teh ambiance of the event.  The service was equally amazing.  We will gladly recommend this venue for parties, weddings and gatherings moving forward and hopefully will use them again for next year's event.  Thank you, Whispering Pine!

Annmarie at Whispering Pine Plantation is such an amazing person.  We needed somewhere at the last minute to have a Celebration of Life for my father and Annmarie made us her priority.  She was able to create a beautiful event with very short notice and went above and beyond any expectations.  Her passion for the work she does really shows.  I highly recommend Whispering Pine Plantation with Annmarie's creative touch.

One of the standout features of Whispering Pine Plantation is the presence of horses, which adds a unique and enchanting element to the venue.  Whether you're a horse lover or simply appreciate the beauty of these magnificent animals, they contribute to the overall charm and atmosphere of the plantation.

Working with Annmarie, the venue and event manager, was a pleasure.  Her professionalism and warm personality made the planning process smooth and stress-free.  She was attentive to every detail, ensuring that the event went off without a hitch.  

Overall, Whispering Pine Plantation is beautiful wedding venue that I would highly recommend for anyone planning a wedding or special event.  Its natural beauty, combined with excellent management, makes it a top choice for couples seeking a memorable and scenic location.

I stayed at Whispering Pine for a work trip and the stay was fabulous!  The plantation house was beautiful and well maintained.  Each bedroom had its own bathroom and was very clean and neat.  The food we were served was homemade and it was delicious!  Annmarie had coffee and breakfast food each morning before we left and had dinner waiting for us when we got back to the house.  I highly recommend Whispering Pine as a place to stay for a work trip or group event.

Our wedding was absolutely amazing! Whispering Pine Plantation went out of their way to make everything perfect. You won't be disappointed if you book with them. Annmarie went above and beyond in decorating, coordinating, cleaning, planning, and so much more! She never slows down and makes sure that you have a stress-free wedding! We love you and can't wait to come back for future events!

First, if I could give more stars, I would! I hosted a bridal shower for my future daughter-in-law recently at Whispering Pine Plantation. The location itself is breathtaking. Surrounded by pine trees and fields with the last golden stalks of fall corn, it was a lovely setting for the day. There were so many floral and garden backdrops (sparkling pool, a wall of white hydrangeas, to name a few), we had a variety of photo options to choose from. The inside was spacious with enough room to accommodate our party of nearly thirty with a deck and outside area to enjoy as well. And that’s just the venue! Annmarie, the event coordinator makes it all happen. She truly cares about every event taking place at the venue. During the planning sessions she offered suggestions on food, decorations, special touches for the day (a poster sized picture of the couple to put on an easel in the entry way!). She added special touches like writing the welcome sign in calligraphy for guests to see walking up the sidewalk. The catering was excellent as was the food. Everything was ready to go and presented beautifully! I was allowed to rearrange decor if I chose and the number of decorations to choose from was ample! An important feature of any business is communication. Annmarie answered every single text. Every single question. Promptly. Everything I asked her to do, she was able to do. Finally, I can only say, if this much attention to detail is paid to a small shower of 30 people, how incredibly lucky are those people who have their actual weddings at this beautiful location!

We had been searching for the perfect wedding venue for our big day! What we wanted was the souther hospitality feel. And that’s exactly what you get at Whispering Pine with a sprinkle of The Notebook feel as well. Annmarie made wedding plan so easy, and I had very little to stress over planning. She took my ideas and made them a reality. Our wedding which was 9/16/23 was magical and perfect.

From start to finish our experience at whispering pines and with Ann Marie was 10/10. The property is beautiful, and Ann Marie worked so hard to make sure our dream day turned into reality! Our wedding was perfect, everything went smoothly, and the contacts Ann Marie had are stellar! The day started with pouring down rain, but as soon as it stopped at 3pm the team all came together to make sure we were able to get married outside. We thank Ann Marie and her team so much for giving our day everything we required! If you are looking for a great venue, this is it!

We got married here on August 5th, 2023. The venue was absolutely GORGEOUS! It accommodated all of my guest. Annmarie was wonderful from our initial walk through and all the way through the wedding and even still to this day. I’m so blessed to have found this venue and amazing people to have spent the best day of my life. Couldn’t recommend the venue and Annmarie more!

I got married July 16th of last year and it was amazing!!! The services I received for what I paid for was worth it!!! Ann Marie was a huge help and couldn’t have done it without her. This venue is exactly what my wife was looking for and it is beautiful!!! If I could get married again, I’d come back here 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

October 26, 2021  · The first time we come to see this place I had to tell my husband right away that this is gonna be the place for our wedding. Whispering pine plantation has very beautiful views. And mrs AnnMarie is super, very nice, very helpful. She helped us plan everything for our wedding. She helped us find the very best catering, DJ, flowers, cake, photographer….. everything. They were all very affordable. She even helped me borrow the teacups set for my Vietnamese tea ceremony. We sooo happy and enjoy our wedding here. Highly recommend Whispering Pine Plantation.

AnnMarie, the venue coordinator was fantastic and has such a very friendly and caring personality that she makes you feel like family! We all stayed the weekend and we are made to feel like we were at home!   Thank you, Annmarie

My fiancé and I booked our wedding shortly after we got engaged at Whispering Pines. It did not even compare to other venues. It was the most affordable compared to other venues, most beautiful, and we have the luxury of staying the weekend and relaxing with our family! The house is amazing, and the soy crops outside mixed with the trees really sold it for us. Not only did we love the venue, but we also felt warm and welcomed by Annmarie. Since the moment we booked she has been a great communicator, and we feel like she is really listening to our needs. Not the "corporate" feel if you will. We also did our save the dates at the venue with their photographer! They turned out AMAZING! It was so fun and taking pictures with the horses really made them feel so much more magical. We are booked for May, and I could not be more excited!

Also just to add- they had so many options to help with vendors, which helped us pick our caterer! It's so much less stress than I imagined because they are SO helpful! I am so excited about our wedding and could not recommend this venue enough!

I am also a wedding vendor who knows first-hand the challenges covid has presented. With 48 hours to go before the wedding covid had other plans. We all thank you so very much for being so easy to work with! verification that choosing this venue was absolutely the right choice.
